An object in a Facebook ad account (a campaign, an ad set or an ad) can have three different states:
Live is the default state where the object can have different statuses: active, paused, scheduled, etc.
An archived object cannot have different statuses, but its statistics count towards total statistics. For example: If an ad set has two ads where one is archived, the statistics for the ad set will include both ads.
A deleted object cannot have different statuses, and its statistics does not count towards total statistics. For example: If an ad set has two ads where one is deleted, the statistics for the ad set will only include the non-deleted ad.
Ad accounts have an upper limit for how many non-deleted objects they can contain. The limit is comprised of the amount of live+archived objects. The limits are as follows:
You can archive ads from Qwaya, although it is currently not possible to view archived objects, and neither is it currently possible to delete archived objects.
When an ad account has reached its limits, objects must be deleted before it’s possible to create new ones. To delete objects, go to the Facebook Ads Manager and delete them from there.
